Learn about us

"An Organization That Promotes independence to underserved and extra needs populations."
Welcome to LifeROOTS, Inc., where passion meets purpose! Founded in 1958, our roots run deep in the heart of Albuquerque and the surrounding communities. From our humble beginnings as pioneers in treating children with polio and cerebral palsy, we’ve blossomed into a beacon of hope and support for individuals of all ages with developmental, physical, and behavioral disabilities.
At LifeROOTS, we don’t just provide services—we ignite transformation. Led by a team of dedicated professionals, we empower each and every one of our 1,500+ clients annually to reach for the stars and achieve their highest levels of self-sufficiency. From Early Childhood Services to Employment Support and beyond, we’re here to nurture potential, cultivate independence, and celebrate the unique qualities that make each of our client’s shine.
But our impact doesn’t stop there. Since 1989, we’ve been trailblazers in providing contract services to both commercial and government facilities, proudly employing over 49 individuals with disabilities in roles ranging from custodial and janitorial services to packaging and assembly. From Kirtland Air Force Base to the City of Albuquerque, we’re making a difference one contract at a time, all while championing inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
Join us on our journey as we continue to transform lives, build futures, and spread joy throughout our community. Together, we can create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Welcome to LifeROOTS, Inc. — where every day is a celebration of possibility!
